In today’s world of digital photography it is very easy to supply either color or black and white output. However, knowing in advance helps with decisions on lighting and choices of backgrounds. In this example the client had actually supplied a sample image he wished to imitate. I knew that it required a certain background and lighting setup to achieve what he wanted. In the end he was very happy with the results. Had I not known the vision in advance it would have been next to impossible to create this from standard lighting and backgrounds.
